Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The puck drops here. Just not tonight, or Saturday. The Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears hockey games scheduled against Railbelt Conference rival Palmer tonight and tomorrow at Treadwell Arena have been cancelled due to a spike of COVID cases in Palmer.
According to coaches and athletic directors the Palmer Moose will not be arriving in Juneau and the games may be rescheduled. The Crimson Bears are, so far, still scheduled to play Aurora Conference foe Tri-Valley on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Treadwell Arena.
