
Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Fraudulent test and email messages are being sent to people in regards to the unemployment insurance program administered by the Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
Commissioner Dr. Tamika Ledbetter says the messages advise recipients that their benefits can't be paid due to incorrect information on file. The messages instruct them to click on the provided links to resolve the issue. The department advises recipients not to do so.
