
Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The City and Borough of Juneau has released the unofficial results of the Oct. 6 municipal election.
In Assembly District 1, Alicia Hughes-Skandijs leads Kenny Solomon-Gross, 6,350 to 5,044.
Christine Woll is still victorious in District 2 with 5,116 votes, while Robert Shoemake had 3,034. Derek Dzinich received 1,870 votes, and Lacey Derr received 1,018 votes.
Maria Gladziszewski was re-elected unopposed.
Brian Holst and Martin Stepetin were both elected to the school board, with 8,329 votes and 6,873 votes, respectively.
Proposition 1, which would form a charter review committee, has failed 7,424 to 3,957. Proposition 2, for a $15 million general obligation bond, is passing 6,912 to 4,664.
The Canvass Review Board will begin its work at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20 in the Assembly Chambers at City Hall.
