    Event Summary

    NSRAA will be offering a hatchery tour and salmon bake lunch at our Medvejie Hatchery on Saturday, July 10th from 9am-12:30. This is a good chance to see King Salmon returning to the hatchery and hear about the fisheries enhancement program.

    Transportation to the Hatchery will be proved by Allen Marine. Our Allen marine boat will depart Crescent Harbor at 9:00am. We will arrive at the Hatchery around 9:30 where a tour and lunch will be served. Boat will depart at 12:00 and will return to Crescent Harbor at 12:30.
    Masks are mandatory while on the boat.

    Tickets cost $15 each and are available at the NSRAA office, located at 1308 Sawmill Creek Road. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. Cash only.

    • Sitka Tribe CARES Act Housing & Temporary Shelter Assistance

      The Sitka Tribe of Alaska is pleased to offer Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act need based assistance for Tribal Citizen/ AK Native or American Indian Sitka community households impacted by the COVID pandemic. The assistance available is $500 per household paid directly to a vendor to cover the mortgage, rent, utilities, heating fuel, or boat moorage costs, invoice verification is required and must be submitted with the application. This funding will also assist with those experiencing homelessness with temporary shelter. There is a separate application for this type of assistance. Applications will be accepted until July 31, 2021. Please go to for the application. Or please bring a previous or current invoice/bill (oil,utilities,rent,moorage, mortgage) to 456 Katlian St. for social services with your phone number on it; we will call and complete the online application with you over the phone.
