    Attend the opening reception of Tlingit artist Robert Hoffman's exhibition of new works, "Filling Empty Spaces -- Attraction and Distraction."

    Sheldon Jackson Museum invites the public for an artist talk by Robert Hoffman and the opening reception for his exhibition of new works "Filling Empty Spaces – Attraction and Distraction" at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 14. Hoffmann is one of three artists selected for the Sheldon Jackson Museum 2020-2023 Solo Artist Exhibition Series, alongside artists Allie High and Peter Williams. Through his carvings and paintings, Hoffmann explores cultural values and to what ends they drive us in a search for fulfillment.
